防尘罩仅安装在筛分机上方，由屋顶状分段组成，通常配有橡胶帘延伸至筛箱内部。此类防尘密封设计比全面防尘保护更简洁，但配合除尘系统使用时，仍能显著减少筛分机的粉尘外逸量。
防尘保护装置指对整台筛分机的全封闭结构，旨在最大限度防止粉尘外逸。该装置采用两种设计形式：其一，筛分机安装于钢制框架上，该框架同时支撑由分段钢板构成的防尘罩；其二，防尘结构在弹簧支撑点处强化设计，直接承载筛分机重量。进料端与出料端均设有检修门便于操作，非摆动式底流收集斗可螺栓固定于防尘底座框架，进一步杜绝粉尘泄漏。
所有横梁均采用局部包胶设计，与筛分物料接触的表面覆有4毫米或8毫米厚的耐磨橡胶保护层。
若需增强耐磨性，可选配横梁凹槽发泡填充（防止物料堆积）并加装4毫米耐磨橡胶的结构。
后壁通常采用8毫米厚耐磨橡胶防护。此外，也可选择耐磨钢、陶瓷或聚氨酯材质的替代方案。
